Google Search Console for Med Spas: A Monthly Organic Search Review

Use Google Search Console to understand how your med spa appears in Google Search, then translate the findings into a short list of page improvements. A practical review compares dates, examines relevant pages and queries and investigates indexing problems. It does not treat clicks as appointments.
Boost Medspa Marketing uses this framework to explain organic-search reporting. It is not a claim about a particular practice's results.
Start with a consistent comparison
Compare clearly defined date ranges and record changes that may affect the result. Unequal periods or a holiday-heavy month can make simple growth percentages misleading.
Open the Performance report and select the search type relevant to the review. Record clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position, but do not interpret the sitewide average before looking at the underlying pages. Note a redesign, new treatment content, an address change or an advertising campaign that could influence branded demand.
Review treatment and location pages separately
Page-level reporting shows which parts of the website are gaining or losing visibility. It is more actionable than asking the team to improve an unexplained average for the entire site.
For an important treatment page, inspect the queries associated with it and ask whether they match the service actually offered. A page receiving impressions for unrelated searches needs investigation, not automatically more keywords. Review genuine location pages separately because local demand and the available services may differ.

Use CTR and position as clues rather than verdicts
A page with impressions and few clicks may deserve a review of relevance and search presentation, but the numbers do not prove the title is the problem. Search results, devices, query intent and competing features can all affect the experience.
Average position is not a permanent rank for every person in every city. Compare the same query and page where possible, then inspect the actual page title and content. Avoid replacing a clear title with exaggerated promises simply to chase click-through rate.
Search Console does not show every query. Privacy protections and reporting limits mean visible query totals may not match broader totals, so an absent query is not proof that nobody searched it.
Investigate indexing issues on important pages
Use URL Inspection when an important page appears unavailable in search or its indexed version needs investigation. A page being technically eligible does not guarantee that Google will index it or rank it.
Check the selected canonical, indexing status and reported crawl information. Confirm the page loads, is linked from the site and is not accidentally blocked or marked noindex. A sitemap is useful for discovery, but it cannot force indexing.
Write an action list the team can execute
The useful output of the review is a short prioritized action list with owners, not a large export nobody reads. Distinguish technical corrections from editorial improvements and measurement questions.
- Fix broken important pages or incorrect indexing instructions first.
- Review mismatches between a treatment's page and the queries it attracts.
- Improve outdated service, provider and location details.
- Add useful links from related pages where discovery paths are weak.
- Record questions that need clinical, operational or tracking review.
Keep a change log so the following month's comparison includes the context of what was changed.
Keep appointment reporting separate
Search Console reports search visibility, not patient intake or revenue. Reconcile website inquiries with booked and attended consultations using appropriately reviewed systems.
Use our ROI guide and ROI tracking service to separate those stages. Do not upload patient details to search reporting tools to bridge the gap.

Frequently asked questions
Does Search Console show med spa bookings?
No. Search Console reports Google search performance such as clicks and impressions; booking and attendance information must be measured separately.
Why do my query totals not match all clicks?
Some query data is omitted for privacy and reporting limits. Treat visible queries as useful evidence, not a complete list of every search.
Does average position mean I rank there everywhere?
No. It is an aggregate metric and does not describe a fixed ranking for every location, device or query.
Should I rewrite every low-CTR page title?
Investigate the page, queries and search context first. Low click-through rate alone does not establish that the title is inaccurate or causing the result.
Does submitting a sitemap guarantee indexing?
No. A sitemap supports discovery, while indexing and ranking depend on other factors assessed by Google.
